Terms of service

By using BuildYourLaunch you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accounts

You need an account to submit, upvote, comment or book an ad. One person, one account: you are responsible for what happens under yours, and you must give a real email address.

Launches

• Launch only products you make or are allowed to represent. Every submission is reviewed, and we may decline, edit for accuracy, reschedule or remove a launch that is misleading, unsafe, illegal, spammy or not a real product.
• Free launches take one of the 25 free slots in a week. A Premium launch costs $39 once and can take any open week.
• The link to your product is dofollow on Premium launches, and on free launches while your site shows the BuildYourLaunch badge. We check for the badge regularly; remove it and the link goes back to nofollow.
• You keep all rights to your product and its materials, and give us permission to show them on BuildYourLaunch, in our emails and when sharing launches.

Voting and comments

Upvote and comment honestly. Fake accounts, bought or traded votes, vote rings and automated voting are not allowed. We may remove votes, comments or accounts that break this, and disqualify a launch that benefited from it.

Advertising

Ad spots are booked by the week: $19 a week in the homepage leaderboard, $29 a week beside launch pages. Ads are marked as sponsored and their links carry rel="sponsored". We may decline or remove an ad that is misleading or breaks these terms, and refund it when we do.

Payments and refunds

Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, which also takes care of sales tax and VAT. If something goes wrong with a launch or an ad you paid for, email us before its week starts and we will reschedule or refund it. A refunded Premium launch goes back to a free launch.

Free tools

The free tools are offered as they are, without a guarantee that their results are complete or right. Use them only on sites you are allowed to check.

Liability

BuildYourLaunch is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or results you expected from a launch, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
