Read BuildYourLaunch's launches, rankings, winners and makers as JSON. No key needed.

Endpoints

Every endpoint is a GET on https://buildyourlaunch.com and returns JSON.

  • /api/v1/launches: This week's launches, ranked by upvotes.
  • /api/v1/launches?week=2026-W44: Any week's launches; a finished week's order is its final ranking.
  • /api/v1/launches/{slug}: One live launch, with its makers and final rank.
  • /api/v1/winners: The top 3 of every finished week, newest first.
  • /api/v1/upcoming: Scheduled launches, soonest first.
  • /api/v1/makers/{username}: A maker's public profile and their live launches.

Limits and use

60 requests a minute per IP address; past that you get 429 with a Retry-After header. Responses are cached for a minute and open to any origin (CORS), so you can call them from a browser. Weeks run Monday to Monday, UTC, and use ISO week numbers.
